This term, we have been getting creative in the kitchen with our cooking and baking skills.

We have been learning to write a variety of different recipes.

Some of us have even been practicing these skills at home!

How to make a ham and cheese sandwich

Ingredients

  • Butter
  • 2 pieces of lettuce
  • 100g shaved ham
  • 100g colby cheese
  • 2 slices of tomato
  • 1 tsp mayonaise
  • 2 pieces of gluten free white bread

 

Method

 

First take 2 pieces of bread and butter them with a knife.

Next place 100g of ham on top of the bread.

After that, grate 100g of colby cheese then sprinkle the colby cheese on the ham.

Slice a tomato and put 2 slices onto your sandwich.

Next add 2 washed leaves of lettuce.

Then scoop 1 tsp of mayonaise and spread it on to one piece of bread.

Finally, place the second piece of bread on top of your sandwich.

It now ready to eat… yum!
